Metal Detecting 31 is an in-person interest club for people to meet-up whom enjoy the hobby of metal detecting and that are located along Michigan's US 31 & Lakeshore region.
This month’s topic will be - “How To Dig in Public Places”
Spring is ALMOST here and that means the ground with thaw and be ready for digging! But one thing to remember as good stewards of the hobby is to make sure we leave the places we metal detect at in a better condition than we found them.
This means removing trash and cleaning up the areas we dig and detect! We’ll be covering an easy and repeatable process on how to go about doing that at this month’s meeting.

Meeting Location
Viking Athletic & Activity Complex entrance.
March 2nd, 2023 will be the next meeting for the Club and it will be held at the Viking Athletic & Activity Complex (VAC) in Whitehall, Michigan from 7pm-8pm in the community conference room.
The conference room is located to the right of the welcome desk as you enter the building using the West entrance (main entrance).
This Club meeting is FREE and open to the general public to come and learn about the Club, ask questions about metal detecting, and perhaps even learn a little more about some local history!
If you like what you see, considered an annual membership to join and attend future Club meetings and events with the Metal Detecting 31 Club. Annual membership is only $10/family. (In this instance, a family is considered the initial joining member, their spouse, and all dependents living with them under the age of 18).
