Metal Detecting 31 is an in-person interest club for people to meet-up whom enjoy the hobby of metal detecting and that are located along Michigan's US 31 & Lakeshore region.

This month’s topic will be - “Research Night - Finding Historical Places to Metal Detect”

Bring your research maps, images, books, postcards and any other material that you’re willing to share with the group as we work together to find and locate new potential areas to metal detect. We’ll also have the computer overhead up to look at online Plat Maps and LiDAR images of potential hot spots that may be worth investigating.

February 2nd, 2023 will be the next meeting for the Club and it will be held at the Viking Athletic & Activity Complex (VAC) in Whitehall, Michigan from 7pm-8pm in the community conference room.

The conference room is located to the right of the welcome desk as you enter the building using the West entrance (main entrance).

This Club meeting is FREE and open to the general public to come and learn about the Club, ask questions about metal detecting, and perhaps even learn a little more about some local history!

If you like what you see, considered an annual membership to join and attend future Club meetings and events with the Metal Detecting 31 Club. Annual membership is only $10/family. (In this instance, a family is considered the initial joining member, their spouse, and all dependents living with them under the age of 18).

ANY MEMBERSHIPS paid for in 2023 will be valid for the duration of 2023. (Membership dues will go in to helping cover the cost to rent the facility, provide funds for special events, and allow for additional membership perks).
